On 3-4 October 2019, the ECVET Secretariat organised an ECVET Thematic Seminar in Brussels about Tools for VET-learner mobility on behalf of European Commission’s Directorate General for Employment, Social Affairs & Inclusion.
The Thematic Seminar fed into ongoing discussions about the further development of ECVET for mobility. Indeed, research showed that the main impact of ECVET is related to improving the VET learner mobility experience, and the ECVET tools Learning Agreement (LA) and Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) are frequently used.
The key objective of the seminar was to discuss lessons learnt from more than ten years of using the ECVET tools for VET learner mobility (LA, MoU, and Personal Transcript), to help the European Commission's Directorate General for Employment, Social Affairs & Inclusion gather information for further discussion of these options and other ideas.

The synthesis report will be uploaded in the coming weeks.
