The meeting of the ECVET Network (ECVET Users' Group and ECVET National Experts Coordinators) took place on 21 June 2016. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss and share information on European policy initiatives on ECVET, and discuss implementation on EU and national level. This ECVET Network meeting debated the 'New Skills Agenda for Europe' and its potential consequences for the development of ECVET. The agenda of the ECVET Network meeting is available for download here.
The New Skills Agenda for Europe will be organised around three axes: better skill development; better visibility and understanding of skills and qualifications; and better understanding of skill needs. Subsequent actions in 2017 may include the revision of ECVET, EQAVET and the Key Competence Framework.
In addition, on 22 June 2016 there were parallel meetings of the ECVET Working Group and the ECVET National Experts Coordinators to discuss and explore the revision of the ECVET Recommendation. The agenda of the ECVET National Coordinators meeting is available for download here.
