The Annual ECVET Forum 2017 took place on 19 – 20 October in St Paul’s Bay (Qawra), Malta. It focused on the role of ECVET to promote flexible vocational pathways. The programme explored and discussed what national examples exist to show how flexible VET pathways can be granted and what are the success factors. The Forum also looked at the role of ECVET and how ECVET can further inspire reforms towards more flexible vocational pathways. The first day (19 October) took stock and explore recent national VET reforms and how they relate to the principles of flexible vocational pathways. During the first day, a market place gave participants an opportunity to present and demonstrate outputs of projects and programmes implemented in Member States. The second day (20 October) looked forward and discussed the potential role of ECVET to further inspire reforms towards more flexible vocational pathways.
