The topic of the ECVET Annual Forum 2016 was ‘Flexible pathways to vocational skills’. The Annual Forum brought together policy makers, ECVET experts, social partners and VET practitioners to discuss how ECVET can be developed, in the context of New Skills Agenda for Europe, to make vocational pathways more open and flexible. This was discussed based on experiences and challenges related to such areas as work based learning, re-training and up-skilling of adults or the validation of skills from prior learning in different learning environments.
The Annual Forum was an opportunity to learn more about progress in different European countries, share practical approaches and experiences of working with ECVET and network with other participants.
