Learning outcomes are a key element for quality apprenticeships and work-based learning, according to a Position Paper produced by the European Youth Forum in December 2018. The Quality of Apprenticeships paper highlights that learning outcomes allow young people to develop job-specific skills and transferable skills (including soft skills) and competences. The report also highlights the importance of transparency between different qualifications systems in order to support mobility and access to the labour market.
